In addition to the one-on-one support, SEGO Buddies offers group support, currently at three locations. These groups often highlight a featured speaker. Discussions include topics associated with being treated for gynecologic cancer; such as nutrition, spirituality, art therapy, clinical trial research and "what is an ethical will?"

Our monthly SEGO Buddies Support Groups offer venues to meet over a light lunch, listen to a guest speaker and discuss issues pertaining to your cancer journey. Please join us at one or all three locations for monthly group support. Check back frequently and visit our "Calendar" to find more detailed information about our upcoming support groups.

The Kennestone SEGO Buddies Support Group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month, from 12:00 (noon) - 2:00 pm. Meetings are hosted Wellstar Health System in the Cancer Data Center Conference Room located at 522 North Avenue NW, Marietta, Ga.

Women's Insight - Meetings take place in the ERb Cancer Center conference room on the first floor of the Florence Hays Erb Clinical Speciality Center.

FREE Parking: For the "Women's Insight" meetings, please park in the Cancer Center parking deck - immediately across from the Florence Hays Erb Clinical Speciality Center.

When you arrive, pull up to the gate and use the intercom to tell security that you are here for a "cancer center event". The gate will be lifted. Parking will be free in the deck while you are attending the meeting.

 

Gainesville Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each odd month (i.e. January, March, May, July, September, November) from 12:00 (noon) - 2:00 pm. Meetings are hosted in the Gainesville office lobby (unless notes differently) located at 1498 Jesse Jewell Parkway, Suite C, Gainesville, GA 30501.

SEGO We Care Foundation is a not-for-profit organization providing support and educational programs infusing empowerment and encouragement to the gynecologic cancer patient and their caregivers.

The mission of the SEGO - We Care Foundation is to provide support programs addressing all aspects of the gynecologic cancer patient including empowering women and their caregivers with knowledge and support on the journey through and beyond treatment for gynecologic cancer as well as educate the medical community of comprehensive and leading-state-of-the-art information regarding screening, surgical procedures and treatment of gynecologic cancers.

The SEGO - We Care Foundation serves the patient population of Southeastern Gynecologic Oncology. SEGO is one of the largest and most complete treatment facilities for gynecologic cancers in the country.
