Each year in February our SEGO Buddies join together to share a Hug Yourself Valentine Party. This year, 2009, we went to La Madeleine's for some yummy desserts. Our party fun used a game of "Six Degrees of Separation" to burn off some of those unwanted calories. The game allowed each of us to learn what we have in common aside from enjoying sweets.

SEGO We Care Foundation is a not-for-profit organization providing support and educational programs infusing empowerment and encouragement to the gynecologic cancer patient and their caregivers.

The mission of the SEGO - We Care Foundation is to provide support programs addressing all aspects of the gynecologic cancer patient including empowering women and their caregivers with knowledge and support on the journey through and beyond treatment for gynecologic cancer as well as educate the medical community of comprehensive and leading-state-of-the-art information regarding screening, surgical procedures and treatment of gynecologic cancers.

The SEGO - We Care Foundation serves the patient population of Southeastern Gynecologic Oncology. SEGO is one of the largest and most complete treatment facilities for gynecologic cancers in the country.
